2. Estimates, Contracts, and Payment
Estimates. Estimates are free. Any pricing shared on this website, by phone, text, or email is preliminary. It is not binding. Final pricing is set after we evaluate the job in person.
Written contracts. Work is performed under a written contract or work order as required by California law. Your contract or invoice will state the price, scope of work, cleanup, payment terms, and any warranty. If these Terms and your signed contract conflict, your contract controls.
Changes to the work. If we find conditions that change the scope or price, we will explain them and get your written approval before doing additional work.
Permits. Some cities require a permit to remove or prune certain trees. Permit responsibilities are stated in your contract.
3. Scheduling and Cancellations
Emergency service. We offer same-day emergency service for hazardous, fallen, or storm-damaged trees. Emergency service may include additional fees. We will tell you about any added fees before we dispatch a crew.
Weather and scheduling. Tree work depends on safe conditions. We may reschedule for high winds, storms, or other unsafe weather. Emergencies and equipment availability can also cause delays. We will contact you if your appointment is affected.
Cancellations. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
4. Your Property and Our Work
Our workmanship. Any warranty on our work is stated on your invoice or contract.
Tree health. Trees are living things. We cannot guarantee how a tree will respond to pruning, treatment, disease, or weather after our work. Any warranty on newly planted trees is stated in your contract.
Arborist recommendations. Arborist consultations and recommendations are based on what can be observed at the time of inspection. Hidden decay, root problems, and future weather can affect any tree.
Underground items. Please tell us about private underground lines, septic systems, irrigation, and invisible fences before work begins. We are not responsible for damage to items that were not disclosed or marked.
Property lines. You confirm that you own the trees we work on or have permission from the owner. We are not responsible for disputes over trees on or near property lines.
Site access. Some trees require heavy equipment to reach. We take care to protect your property, but minor lawn marks or ruts can occur.
Existing conditions. Trees and properties can have hidden decay, root damage, or other problems we did not create. We will tell you about conditions we find. We are not responsible for pre-existing problems that our work did not cause.
